A+ Essentials - Operating Systems Software

This course along with A+ Essentials - Hardware validates knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems, covering skills such as installation, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing and preventive maintenance, with additional elements of security and soft skills. The Essentials Exam validates the basic skills needed by entry-level service technician regardless of job environment. It is recommended that students complete OL718, A+ Essentials Hardware, before registering for this course. Upon completion of the A+ Essentials- Hardware and the A+ Essentials- Operating Systems Software courses students will be able to challenge the CompTIA A+ 220-1101 (Core 1) and 220-1102 (Core 2) A+ certification exams with CompTIA. Students must book their own exam with CompTIA and all certification exams are at an additional fee.
