The course introduces the principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations to provide a foundation for the CCNA curriculum. This is the first of three courses that are designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for successful completion of the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) examination. By the end of the course, students will be able to build simple LANs, perform basic configurations on routers and switches, and implement IP addressing schemes.
