You will learn about fonts, different layout techniques, and simple layout concepts essential to effective graphic design. This introductory course focuses on the basic building blocks of design, featuring the key concepts and fundamental ideas associated with good graphic design, essential for success in desktop publishing. Computer Software Requirements: Word Processing Software. Students require a design/page layout program such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or Corel Draw capable of creating and saving small graphic design compositions in jpeg or PDF formats.
